Today I was out taking photos on what is pretty much a building site so I didnt go for anything too glamorous, infact, i'm not quite sure why im posting this outfit. I will however, show you some of the photos I took today in another post.
I was location hunting for my next photoshoot and my boyfriend has just brought a run down victorian house, so this was the perfect place for my 'ghost' themed shoot. Below is me experimenting with photoshop and exposure times, of some effects I want to use for the final photos.

Duende

Hello everyone!

I've mentioned before that I am starting a magazine for my final major project at uni. I have started a blog with my magazine partner Nia Baldwin, of which we place any inspiration we may use for the magazine and to keep up to date with one another. It'd be fanstatic if you could follow us and give comments or any ideas you may have! Below is a mock up of a front cover we had to do for our proposal.

So take a look and tell us what you think!

Warm Christmas

Hello!
Another quick outfit post, as i've been wrapping up very warm (although it's actually been a mild christmas), i'm always cold!
This fur collar I love, it's so warm (not real fur) and you can attach it to any coat, Lovely. Can't beat a plaid flannel shirt around christmas, remind me of skiing. Anyway, I do hope you all have a lovely christmas and a happy new year, looking forward to seeing everyone's christmas outfits!

Magazine Research! Please Help!

Hello everyone!

For my final major project I am creating a contributors magazine for young creatives. Exciting stuff :)
I was hoping that I could get you all to answer my survey - it's very short only a couple of questions, plus as you're all interested in fashion and the creative arts your opinion is valuable to our research.

I'll have a blog up and running for it soon, would be great to have your support,
Thanks in advance!

P.s any budding graphic designers, illustrators, stylists etc that would be interested in maybe contributing some work, please don't be shy! Get in touch :)

Marry The Dark

Hello from my actual room (came back home for the weekend).
This is what I wore last night to the pub, oh how i've missed the queens head.
I've been looking for a nice denim shirt for I don't know how long. And finally here it is. Wore with my faux leather skirt and 3.1 philip lim inspired coat. (apologies for the hair rollers!)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - Cannot wait for christmas!

Animal Elements

Hi from my new uni room.
I haven't done an outfit post in a while, so heres a quick one for now, what I wore to uni on thursday.
Animal Elements have been a big part of my winter wardrobe this year. Leather jacket I wear almost everyday, and my new snake skin dress and fur collar add to my 'animal collection' of clothing. Hope you like!

Stud.

Hello,
I just had to share with you my BEST BUY this season. My high-waisted levi studded shorts. As they're an ebay buy, I wasn't sure what I was going to get through the post! But they're perfect. The studs feature on the right side and both back pockets. Heres the link for those of you that are interested, they have them in loads of different washes and colours, and they're a great investment piece as you can wear them whatever the weather.

High Shine

Hello,

I made a promise to post some of my new buys today. So here we are! These photographs are just a couple of my recent buys. All quite shiny and soft fabrics for those of you with girly tastes, however, all versatile pieces that I LOVE mixing into the androgynous trend. All found in shops I don't usually venture into either which was a pleasant surprise also. I hope you like them, plenty more to come!

(apologies for the bad quality photos, the lighting in my uni room is absolutely awful)

Sleeveless dip hem shirt, with pearl studded collar, £35, Republic.

High shine metallic scallop tee, £25, River Island.

This is my new favourite nail varnish and a definite part of my A/W wardrobe. It's H&M own brand polish, and for £2.99 it's great quality! They do a range of colours, however this metallic black fits in perfectly with my on the go life at the moment (doesn't chip!).

Tough Cookie

Hellooo,

Long time no post! As in my previous post, i've been manic with uni work!
I finally managed to buy a card reader, so tomorrow I will get snappy and take pictures of all the lovely things i've brought over the past couple of months. (I've had my student loan so I went a bit mad!) So new posts very soon :)
Today, however, I managed to man up and finally get my nose pierced after debating for months now. Im a wimp. I don't like needles. So I made it a big deal. And it didn't hurt that much! Ha. Apologies for the awful picture quality, and awkward pose. It's going to take getting used to! What do you think?

Back from Portobello

Long time no post I know... I can't explain how manic my life is right now. My final year at uni second week back and i've already got three projects due in in two weeks. I knew my degree year was going to be hard but this is unreal! I'm not complaining though I do love being busy.

Along with my dissertation i've got to do a project on an area of london (to put it simply) and I chose Portobello Road. It's beautiful. Full of vintage and antiques I could spend all day admiring all the treasures. If you've never been just GO.
I've got some new purchases recently as well, although i'm broke (look at my bank statements, It's official!) So I will post these when I get a spare milli second and a new card reader... In the mean time I hope you like some of my images of Portobello for my project. If anyone knows anything interesting to go and see around there - please let me know :)

Much Love H xox
